The Playhouse Theatre, Preston

Great amateur theatre, right in the heart of Preston

A thriller by Alfred Shaughnessy, co-directed by Wyn Tagg and Marion Yardley

4th to 7th October 2017

An ingenious thriller set in a luxury villa on the Costa Del Sol.

The plot revolves around diamond heiress Olivia Prescott, whose villa is disturbed by an enigmatic stranger.

He seems to know many seemingly trivial details of her past family life. His papers verify his identity, but Olivia insists, with mounting hysteria, that he is an imposter.

The plot thickens when we learn that ten million pounds worth of diamonds has gone missing. Is that what the stranger is after?

The complications are finally unravelled in a gripping denouement to this taut and well-written thriller.
