PRESTON DRAMA CLUB presents
HAYWIRE
A comedy by Eric Chappell, directed by Marilyn Brandwood-Spencer
Bookseller Alec Firth, who is having an affair with his assistant Liz, believes that he has organised his domestic arrangements so that they can fly off to Spain for a few days without wife Maggie suspecting. What could possibly go wrong?
First comes Phoebe, Alec's cranky, crafty 80 year old mother who has discharged herself from her Rest Home.
Next Alec's shiftless son Jamie arrives, complete with broken ankle.
And finally his heavily pregnant daughter turns up, with absolutely no intention of marrying the child's father.
Oh and did I mention the new, incontinent, puppy?
