The Playhouse Theatre, Preston

Great amateur theatre, right in the heart of Preston

A play by Bill Naughton, directed by Don Stephenson

20th to 23rd September 2017

Set on the evening of the 1st June, 1921, on a typical street in a Lancashire town.

We share the trials and tribulations, laughter, tears and memories of the residents as they go about their daily lives.

Written in a very true to life manner as would be expected of the playwright of Spring and Port Wine, All in Good Time, and Alfie.

A very true and entertaining picture is painted of those post world war one years.
